SBGTM SEALED BEARING GEL

Kem-A-TrixTM SBGTM Sealed Bearing Gel series of high-performance bearing gel lubricant has been engineered to provide superior and "permanent" lubrication in sealed bearing assemblies. It offers exceptional stability over a wide range of operating temperatures and it is completely adapted to process conditions where operating temperatures can suddenly and regularly change from one extreme to the next.

 

Exceptional Performance Characteristics

  • Offers unsurpassed stability under operating temperature extremes of up to -30ºF to 800ºF
    (-34ºC to 427ºC).
  • Advanced formulation permits fluid mobility even under low temperatures and low starting or running torque.
  • Does not melt, drip, harden, carbonize nor leave behind abrasive residues.
  • Excellent stability under conditions of high shear and operating speed.
  • Provides effective resistance to most chemicals.
  • Available in a wide selection of viscosity and NLGI ratings to satisfy most applications.
  • USDA F1, Kosher FDA Reg. 21 CFR #178.3570 & #172.878 approved in food applications. Will not support bacterial growth.

Cost-Effective & Extended-Life Bearing Protection

  • Unsurpassed structural integrity provides excellent resistance to degradation due to high-shear, extreme-temperatures and the threat of being washed away under use. This permits extended re-lubrication schedules without added risk.
  • Special additives offer effective protection against oxidation, corrosion and premature bearing wear. The fact that SBGTM will not leave behind abrasive residues will greatly reduce wear and improve cost-effectiveness.
  • Excellent water repellency properties; ideally suited to the frequent wash-down cycles in food plants.
  • Formulated to repel foreign contaminants found under most plant conditions, including dirt, dust and sandy particles, thus adding to bearing protection and cost-effectiveness.
